Description
Polycraft Tuffy 300 2024 with Tohatsu 9.8hp 4 stroke 2025 and Extreme trailer
Boat is only 18mths old and comes with custom made full cushion set , spray hood on railblaza mounts so it can be removed if required, padded seat back rests , railblaza mounts , 12v bilge pump and rod holders.
This small boat is extremely capable and very stable at sea. It is unsinkable and is pretty much indestructible. It has 3 built in lockers which was more than enough room for all your essentials on board. The bow spray hood is a godsend in choppy conditions and keeps you dry at speed. It is mounted on bimini hinges which slot into railblaza mounts so it fully removable, it has 2 click in support straps to secure it in the raised position.
The pictures show a honda outboard but I have recently fitted a brand new Tohatsu 9.8hp 4 stroke engine , it's only been run in and has covered 10.4 hours. I fitted a rev counter and hour meter from new. It has just had its first service at Norman pearn and still has 6 1/2 years warranty left.
The boat will do 18knots and is extremely fuel efficient, I rarely used more than 6 litres all day.
I have modified the extreme bunk trailer to polycrafts recommendations and added extra rollers and a higher winch post . I will fit new wheel bearings before sale.
This is the easiest boat I have ever owned , one person can launch and retrieve it in seconds. The boat being made entirely of polyethylene plastic or stainless steel is maintenance free and just needs cleaning after use.
The mods are all custom made and you won't see these on any other Tuffy , they make all the difference to this small fishing boat and add a level of comfort and convenience
during use.
I will be sad to see it go but I have too many boats . Its been a very pleasant experience owning this unique boat but its time pass it on to someone else.
