This was fitted to my late father's sailing boat and was fully working when removed. It is however untested but I do not expect any faults and offer a 60 day warranty period.
The KVH AutoComp 1000 Digital Fluxgate Sailboat Heading Sensor offers a ± 45° variant to accommodate the heel of a sailing boat. It is a stand-alone heading sensor with continuous automatic compensation for heading input to autopilots, GPS, video charts, radars, computers, and other electronic instruments. It can be used as a heading sensor to obtain radar overlay on certain Raymarine HSB2, Northstar, and Furuno NavNet Products. It outputs all data in NMEA 0183 format. 2.5" tall x 6.3" diameter base, weighs 2.25 lbs
