A beautiful customised double 16ft rowing skiff with many unique features and accessories ready to enjoy on the river or lake.

Constructed of well varnished traditional hard wood laid upon a white clinker style hull to make for a timeless elegance with very low maintenance.

This is to our knowledge, a "one-off" skiff ready to be enjoyed by a new family for many years to come.

We had this skiff customised from brand new and added many original fixtures and fittings to make the skiff the best combination of durable white GRP hull but with the beauty of traditional hard wood, brass, bronze and rope fixtures.

Copper Roves replace many of the usual screw fittings and all alterations to the new skiff were carried out by a much respected boat yard for us. To undertake similar work today would command a very large premium to the purchase price of a standard skiff.

It has Hard wood gunwales and thwarts with bespoke blue with white piping cushions, Copper Roves, Bronze/Brass rowlocks of 2 different sizes which can adjust to accommodate different sized oars. This suits all rowing experience from beginners to experienced.

The skiff has two adjustable double rowing positions with adjustable foot stretcher rests.

A classic varnished wood rudder with rope lines and stainless fittings makes her easy to steer.

The hull and interior are in VGC complete with original newly varnished floor boards for safe and comfortable boating. The skiff has some very minor signs of use and age but is ready to use this Summer from collection.

Complete with custom made marine blue all weather boat cover. The bespoke marine blue seat and bow water proof cushions piped in white offer great comfort are waterproof and set the boat off perfectly.

The traditional rope fenders, new bow to stern rope rubbing strake (replacing the older one in the top photo afloat), 2 pairs of oars with black leather fittings plus a custom wooden storage / battery cabinet, varnished rudder, traditional rope mooring lines, ensign and mast give you all you need to get on the water in style and comfort. The included Snipe trailer makes transport and launching easy.

This beautiful skiff always draws admiring glances and positive comments when afloat on the Thames from other boaters.

Suitable for rowing or use with an electric outboard motor such as Mine Kota or Torqeedo for near silent cruising.

A galvanized Snipe Road Trailer set up for the skiff in very good condition with like new tyres, tow hitch and telescopic jockey wheel is included in the package. These Snipe trailers are very popular and allow you to launch and recover the skiff easily at slipways with the centre keel and bunk rubber rollers to slide the boat into the water.

A Torqeedo Travel 1003L electric outboard suitable for the skiff is also available at additional cost.
