Description
“Cameo” is a timber constructed Bermudian sloop sailing yacht built Liverpool 1914.
The yacht has been in the present family ownership for approximately 50 years and has been the subject of continuous maintenance and upgrades throughout this ownership. Currently internally devoid of fixtures and fittings (see photo), but has supported two berths in the past. Last surveyed 2022. Excellent club racing history.

Length 19ft 9in.
Beam 6ft 3in.

Construction:
Carvel spruce planking on oak skeleton, ie, oak keel, stem, sternpost and ribs. Fastenings of copper and bronze throughout. Main deck, marine ply. Coachroof, mahogany and marine ply. New iron keelbolts fitted 2007, deadwood and internal hog repaired at same time.
Spars:
Mast of hollow Oregon pine, stripped and refurbished 2014.
Boom Pitch pine, solid. Standing rig, stainless steel hard wire approx 6mm all new 2012. Running rig mainly terylene rope and cordage. Stainless steel through bolted chainplates 2012. Sails in good order, main, jib and spinnaker.
Safety:
2 x anchors with warp. Bulkhead compass. Cobra VHF radio.
Nasa Echo-sounder. Bilge pump, hand operated. Lifebuoy. No motor.
