Description
19Ft Shetland Black Hawk boat project with new canopy and windows.
I purchased this boat recently with the intention of doing it up over the winter, but a change in circumstances mean I’m simply not going to have the time. The boat itself is water tight and floats. The floor and transom seem to be solid. It’s recently had brand new tinted polycarbonate windows professionally made and fitted and a refurbished roof hatch. The interior has been stripped out ready for the new owner to fit it out to their own requirements. There is also a separated toilet compartment. The exterior needs some holes filling from old fittings that have been removed and painting as the original gel coat is looking tired (I do have the original mooring cleats to go with it). It also comes with a stainless steel bow rail, stainless steel cockpit rails, stainless steel roof vent and fender eyelets.
It has a Boat Safety Certificate valid until 06/07/2029.
It comes with a top quality uv resistant acrylic canvas canopy made by Titan Boat Canopies in May/June 2025. It has removable sides and rear sections. It comes with a full set of matching blinds and stainless steel framework with quick release fittings that was made at the same time. It cost £2400 to buy.
The boat sits on a galvanised Snipe break back trailer with good tyres and a spare. It’s rated to 1300kg. It’s braked but they will need looking at if you want them working, and it needs a new jokey wheel. I recently towed it about 65 miles and it towed very well. No outboard is fitted on the boat so the trailer is currently nose heavy (that’s how I towed it).
So you’re basically getting the whole lot for less than the canopy and windows cost last year.
