Only for sale due to lack of use (one family holiday in the UK a year - I'm just going to hire a large estate car and save on the tax of £34 per month and insurance) and we have several other cars. 7 seater with panoramic roof.

My brother was previous and second owner from 2014 until I bought it from him in 2023. Full Dealer Service History until 2018 then regular services by a client mechanic until I bought it and decided to get the major service completed at 159k miles including timing chain and tensioners, injector seals, coolant change, power steering fluid change, rocker cover and sump gaskets replaced, gearbox, transfer box and front and rear diff oils at Ratho Auto Services (BMW Specialist) at a cost of almost £2,800 as plan was to keep for many years (receipt available). Oil & Filter service at 159k miles last December. Always run on Shell V Power.

Piles of receipts for work done over the years sorting all the usual X5 problems and I’ve recently had the earth strap, battery, alternator and starter replaced. New handbrake mechanism under the car done 2 years ago. The egr was mapped out last year and a stage 1 map (360bhp and 510lb/ft torque) completed by Central Diesel Tech before last MOT where it passed emissions no problem and obviously runs much better than a standard car now it's running on fresh air rather than exhaust fumes.

2 working keys 4 good run-flat tyres, alloys refurbished 3 years ago so very smart with only a couple of scuffs. A few rust bubbles along bottom of passenger front door and around tailgate handle. Does have a rotating TV with DVD player, 2 pairs of headphones and a remote control but it doesn't work and I've never bothered to investigate the fault. I've never tried to open the pan roof as it's unneccessary and heard of too many stuck open. I've always got the blind open though as it lets in so much light.

Good looking and powerful 4x4 that should be good for another 100k miles thanks to all the preventative maintenance it’s had. Any inspection welcome but no group viewings for well known reasons. May consider a lower value car in part exchange - lower height estate for my wifes business or sports for me.
