Owned this car for a long time and spent a stupid amount of money on it.
It's one of the best X5 e53 I've seen.
AC schnitzer 22inch wheels with tires. £1400
Turbosystems 2872 turbo £1000
EGR delete
Custom 3 inch mafless intake system also ccv delete with oil catchcan £720
535d injectors £900+
Remapped by GKR Performance the best tuners for these engines. Running 300bhp and 650nm safely. Can push more but need a bigger intercooler and a stronger torque converter and could easily achieve 400+bhp and 800+nm.
Maintenance
New control arms front and both rear lower arms also charge pipe and thermostat and new CV boots and stabiliser link also wheel alignment. £1200
New starter motor. £321
Full service and renew glow plugs and module £560
Head gasket Strip cylinder head and skim all new valve oil seals and new valve springs. £1800
