It is a late 2003 (November 2003) - 53 plate - Facelift model BMW 318i in Metallic Grey.

It's one of the last of the older - far better built BMWs to be produced.

An example of the 'E46' 3 series.

It is still wearing its original BMW dealer number plates and stickers from Willams BMW in Rochdale from where it was purchased new in November 2003.

Compared to sitting in a modern BMW this feels like it is hewn from granite. The materials and solidity are just not found in any current BMW or any modern German car - which to me feel far more like appliances as opposed to the prestigious cars they ought to be.
