BMW 316i - Carplay - Low Miles - OEM+

Description

This is my daily driver 316i. The car currently sits at 48,000 miles however i am still driving this car daily so will quickly rise.


In terms of maintenance, the car has been perfectly maintained. The previous owner and I have already spent thousands doing big jobs and very recently had the following:

• New clutch & flywheel at 38k miles

• Major Service: New Diff fluid, brake fluid, engine oil, all filters at 48k miles

• Full Engine service: coils, plugs, filters, oil at 42k miles

•. New brake discs and pads all round at 48k miles

• New dipped beam bulbs & wipers 40k miles

• Suspension springs, bushings and anti roll-bar (with new links) at 42k miles

• New battery at 35k miles

• New MAF sensor 44k miles


The car is such a fun drive. Pulls through each gear nicely. no warning lights on the dash. Tires have good tread. Its had 2 owners including me. I have 2 Original keys and of course, the V5.

Don’t be fooled by the age of this car, it still has adaptive headlights, auto lights, auto wipers, cruise control, bluetooth apple carplay & android auto, electric adjusting mirrors, auto climate control and many more secrets to discover.

All upgrades are produced by reputable manufacturers and installed during my ownership. If theres any issues with these please send me a message!

Many of these cars tend to get over-modified and turned into poor examples. This car is a clean, OEM+ example with a good history. There are no tints, no black alloys, no straight pipe. This is a really good entry level enthusiast car which has been cared for. Please read through the list below.

Eibach 40mm sport springs
I bought brand new RRP: £316
Got the originals too if wanted

MST Intake kit
I bought second hand RRP: £380
I had to throw away of the OEM air-box because a silicone fitting was torn. (This intake is such great fun and more reliable. This is because the factory elbow pipes are made of plastic and crack over time which is a common killer for these cars.)

ECU remap
Done by Darren from Topgear tuning Hertfordshire with full software warranty

Apple carplay retrofit MMI module
I bought brand new RRP: £250
Can reverse if its not wanted but it works perfectly and is fully integrated to the idrive system.

Subtle touches include:
I have a pair of both black & chrome grilles, de-badged rear bumper, new centre caps, new key fob logos, M-Sport pedal covers & Red start/stop button. (I have original pedals and start button if wanted)

Coding:
Start/Stop function is off by default but can be enabled
Audible Lock and unlock
Window key control delay removed
Digital speedometer


The bad bits:

Some bodywork scratches from the previous owner can be seen on drivers side door and rear bumper. Typical for a 12 year old car.

Drivers seat rail does jam and will need investigating. I may clear this soon if i get time.
