2011 BMW 318i Performance Edition 2.0 petrol, 6-speed manual, currently on approximately 97,000 miles.

The car is still in daily use, so the mileage will increase slightly.

This is the special Performance Edition produced to celebrate BMW’s sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, featuring M Sport styling and interior upgrades along with the distinctive London 2012 badging.

The 2.0 petrol engine and 6-speed manual gearbox both run well, and the car drives as it should. It is also reasonably economical for a 2.0 petrol BMW, averaging around 36 mpg in my ownership.

The car has a long MOT until May 2027.

There is a substantial amount of service history, receipts, previous MOTs and paperwork included with the car, as shown in the photos. The service history is recorded up to approximately 87,000 miles.

Recent maintenance includes:

* Front brake discs and pads replaced within approximately the last 2,000 miles
* All 4 spark plugs replaced
* New cabin/pollen filter
* Air filter replaced with a cold-air induction kit
* Front anti-roll bar drop links replaced

The main routine service item currently remaining is an engine oil and filter change.

Being the Performance Edition, the car benefits from a good factory specification including M aerodynamic body styling, sports seats, M Sport multifunction steering wheel, 18-inch alloy wheels and London 2012 exterior badging.

The interior is in good usable condition for its age, although it would benefit from a professional valet/detail to bring it up to its best.

The bodywork and alloys are also presentable for a 15-year-old car but are not immaculate. There are age-related marks/scuffs and the alloys would benefit from refurbishment if you wanted to bring the car up to a higher cosmetic standard. I’ve tried to show the condition honestly in the photographs.

Overall, it’s a good-looking and usable E90 with relatively low mileage for its age, a long MOT, plenty of history and a number of recent maintenance items already taken care of.
