Description
Finally giving up and selling my bmw 120d msport. Update Have had it checked by a mechanic now and he has confirmed it is the fuel pump. Has had a lot of work done to it but I simply don’t have the time anymore. Issue is the fuel system the high pressure fuel pump failed. I have cleaned the fuel tank of all metal shavings I have even replaced the high pressure fuel pump (shown in pics) the car started up for 5 mins then cut off and won’t start again. Getting a code for inadequate fuel rail pressure at start up. Could be a simple fix but u simply don’t have time to investigate further. Has had a new turbo done less than 500 miles previous turbo failed no play in the shaft I believe the oil seal failed. Full hand brake rebuild. New brakes and pads, brand new egr valve. Dpf has been taken off and cleaned. Intercooler has been taken off and cleaned as well. 4 new alloys. Has had a full service oil filters etc. no timing chain noise when it was running. 2 keys and v5c. Feel free to ask any questions. Sold as seen. I also have 3 spare alloys that I will include and other parts
