Description
33KWh Range extender. Summer around 200 (130EV) total range, winter (110EV) 175/80 total.
Owned for two years, simply stunning to drive and only selling as getting an i3S
No range anxiety with this model. At any point you can kick in the Rex motor, and maintain battery charge at that level until you can refill or recharge. Holds around 9l of petrol which will take you around 75 miles without using battery. It doesn't power the wheels, but acts as a dynamo maintaining the battery current charge level.
If you need to you can put in more petrol to complete your journey!
BMW I3 range extender in absolutely stunning condition. C.C.S. fast charge. Best colour combination. Panoramic glass Tilt and slide sunroof, heated front seats, Harmon Karden surround system, BMW professional media package, comfort package, reversing camera, privacy glass, front and rear parking sensors, 19 inch multisport Alloys, two remote keys.
Full BMW service history from new with four owners with the last service being completed in May 2025 which was the full range extender oil and filter change.
Everything works and runs perfectly. MOT expires April this year but I have booked in for next Tuesday. Next service due April 27, that will be an inspection service only.
Battery health level shows almost no loss in capacity...the 33kwh has a useable amount of around 28, current health is 27.6.
Charges from home plug 13amp in around 12 hours, 7.5KW home charger in around 5.
I pay 7.5p per kwh so costs £2 to fill for 130 summer miles. What's not to like.
