What it’s like to ride….

The 853cc twin is smooth, torquey and easy to manage. It pulls strongly from low revs but is also happy to be worked hard, making it enjoyable on twisty roads and effortless on motorways.

The chassis is stable and confidence-inspiring. Compared with larger adventure bikes like the R 1250 GS, the F 850 GS feels noticeably easier to manoeuvre, especially at low speeds.

The Sport model is particularly good for riders who spend most of their time on tarmac but still want the ability to tackle gravel tracks or green lanes occasionally.

Any all round fantastic choice in the adventure range, this particular bike is loaded with option extras and has been very well cared for over its short lifetime.
