Description
DT Swiss G540 wheelset in very good condition.
These were supplied on a road bike I bought recently and have only been ridden approx’ 250km in total. They are great wheels, smooth and strong but in my opinion are better suited to gravel, adventure or hybrid bikes, hence the sale.
They were originally fitted with 700c/ 32mm tyres but according to DT Swiss can take a 53mm tyre, depending of course on frame clearance.
The wheels were fitted with conventional inner tubes but are tubeless ready. NB: Rim Outer width: 28 mm, Inner Width: 24 mm, Height: 25 mm.
These wheel take disc brakes and centre lock thru axles, 12 x 100mm front and 12 x 142mm on the rear. The free hub can take 11 and 12 speed cassettes and was originally fitted with a 12 speed Shimano cassette.
Since removal from my bike the wheels have been boxed and stored in a pet and smoke free environment.
Please note that these wheels are supplied without thru’ axles or cassette.
