The SARACEN TUFTRAX 27.5” Disc has a quality 6061 aluminium frame that endows it with a smooth and rewarding ride. 24-speed SHIMANO shifting adds to the quality of the ride. The tyres have hybrid style tread making them a good choice for non-technical off-road terrain use. The suspension shocks have a lockout feature - this feature stops the suspension from compressing, leaving the suspension in a fixed position. This feature should be used when travelling uphill, or on smooth flat terrain to prevent any wasted energy being transferred through suspension movement.
The SARACEN TUFTRAX 27.5” is well put togetehr entry level mountain bike that will suit newbies and more experienced riders and it’s made to be ridden anywhere from towpaths to trails. It’s a bike that anyone can jump on and begin to enjoy almost immediately. It’s easy to ride and above all, has a completely neutral and predictable set of handling traits. The one thing that is noticeable with the TUFFTRAX Disc especially when comparing it to other similarly priced bikes, is how smooth and enjoyable the ride quality is.
The bike has a small frame only 13” but the geometry of the bike allows riders of height 145-170 to use the bike. This is the perfect bike for growing teenagers.
