We’re looking for a friendly, hands-on couple to manage the Bay Horse, a traditional locals’ pub in the heart of Tadcaster. With a cosy lounge, games room, and garden, it’s a welcoming spot for regulars and visitors alike.

This is a permanent, salaried, live-in position with full training and ongoing support from our independent Tadcaster brewery. You’ll enjoy the freedom to run the pub your way – shaping the atmosphere and day-to-day feel – while having the full support and guidance of Samuel Smith’s Brewery behind you.

Traditional locals’ pub with lounge, games room, and garden
Located in the historic brewery town of Tadcaster
Friendly, community-focused atmosphere

Roles & Benefits:

Permanent joint management contract with Samuel Smith Brewery
Rent-free managers’ flat above the pub
All utilities paid by the brewery (excluding council tax)
Full training provided – no prior experience needed
£1,000 security deposit required (standard and fully refundable)
