Live-in bar supervisor for our lovely community East London pub

We're looking for a bar supervisor to support our lovely team.

We're an independent, community pub in the East End. We are both a locals pub and in our 11 years here have added a new cosmopolitan demographic. We are event heavy. Hosting drag cabaret, Music Bingo, DJ's, folk music and a piano singalong which make the day go a bit quicker.

We're looking for a social, fun, energetic, vibrant person to add to our fun nurturing team. Mutual respect is key. We don't put up with any rudeness from customers & we don't call staff in on their days off but we expect full professionalism in return. Our previous staff are often found at the end of the bar so we know we're doing something right.

Roughly 30 hours per week over evenings and weekends.

Essential skills and qualities required:

- Experience of working in a pub environment

- Cellar experience - barrel changing

- Excellent spoken English

- Good team player

-Excellent people skills

- Respect for equality

- Must be able to work a share of Christmas and New Year so that we can all have a bit of well deserved time off

Additional skill and qualities;

- Experience of kitchen work

- Leadership experience

Additional information:

- Ideal start date: Immediate but of course we will wait for the right person

- Live in - Room includes the all bills including internet.

- Leyton tube station and Leyton Overground Station nearby
