Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week

Pay: £8.00–£12.71 per hour, depending on age/experience

Job Type: Part-time

About the role

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Front of House team member to join our pub team.

The role will primarily involve working behind the bar and carrying out all the usual responsibilities that come with working in a busy pub. You’ll be an important part of creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring they receive great service.

You’ll be working as part of a team, but also need to be confident using your own initiative and working independently when required.

Your responsibilities

Serving customers at the bar and providing friendly, efficient service
Preparing and serving drinks
Taking payments and handling cash/card transactions
Keeping the bar and customer areas clean, tidy and well presented
Restocking drinks and other supplies
Helping with food service and general Front of House duties
Following licensing, hygiene, health & safety and company procedures
Dealing with customer questions and resolving problems professionally
Helping the team keep the pub running smoothly during busy periods
Working independently when required and taking initiative

What we’re looking for

Previous experience working behind a bar is preferred, ideally around 1 year of bar or festival experience, but we’re also interested in people who have the right attitude and transferable customer-service experience.
