🪕 Heartwood Tree of Life 5-String Resonator Banjo

Description

Beautiful and highly decorative Heartwood Tree of Life five-string resonator banjo, originally purchased brand-new from Eagle Music approximately 15–20 years ago for around £1,200.
A substantial, well-made instrument featuring some particularly attractive detailing and craftsmanship.
Features:
• Stunning Tree of Life fingerboard inlay with intricate mother-of-pearl/abalone-style detailing.
• Ornately decorated Heartwood headstock.
• Substantial brass tone ring.
• Gold-plated hardware, including decorative flange, tailpiece and engraved armrest.
• Beautifully figured wooden resonator with a dark sunburst finish.
• Remo Weatherking banjo head.
• Traditional five-string resonator construction.
• Fitted with four fifth-string banjo spikes for convenient capoing.
• Weight: approximately 3.75 kg.
Included in the sale:
• Heartwood five-string banjo.
• Fitted hard case.
• Comfortable padded banjo strap, particularly suitable for heavier instruments.
Condition:
The banjo has been well cared for and remains a beautiful instrument.
There are some cosmetic signs of age and use, including wear to the gold plating on the armrest, a small dent and some scratches to the finish. These are shown in the photographs.
The hard case also has some wear and zip issues, which I'm happy to explain or demonstrate.
I'm selling because I've moved to a smaller, lighter banjo that better suits my needs.
