Description

Role: Academic Nanny / Governess

Care for: B6 & G4

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 7:00pm

Location: Chelsea, London

Salary: £25 – £35 gross per hour (dependent on skills, qualiRications and experience)

Start: ASAP

A professional family are seeking a warm, engaging and academically focused Nanny/Governess to support a lovely family based in Chelsea.

You will care for their two children aged 6 and 4 years old. You will work closely alongside a hands-on mother to support the children’s development, routine and overall wellbeing. The role will centre around after-school care, with a strong emphasis on education and development. You will support with school work, provide approximately three hours of tutoring per week, alongside nanny duties including bath and bed routine.

The family would love to Find a Nanny/Governess who can help foster a love of learning through structured yet engaging activities. The family would also value someone with a background in primary education or teaching, who can bring conFidence, initiative and a calm, capable presence to the role.

Alongside the academic focus, you will assist with the children’s afternoon routine, including organising activities, supporting their development, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable structure to their day. This is a shared care role, working in close partnership with the mother, so a collaborative and intuitive approach is key.

The household is fully staffed, therefore no housekeeping or cooking duties are required. A candidate who is academic, organised and carries themselves with professionalism would be highly valued. A driver would be a bonus, though not essential.

This role would suit a teacher or experienced educational nanny seeking part-time hours, potentially alongside other professional commitments.
