Description

Role: Spanish-Speaking Rota Nanny (Live-Out)

Care for: B4 months & G6 years

Location: Queen’s Park, London

Schedule: 7:00am – 7:00pm | 1 week on / 1 week off

Salary: £70,000 gross per annum

Start Date: Negotiable

A warm and welcoming family based in Queen’s Park are seeking an experienced, Spanish-speaking Rota Nanny to care for their two children, a four-month-old boy and a six-year-old girl. This is a live-out position operating on a one-week-on, one-week-off rota, with working hours from 7:00am to 7:00pm during on weeks. The role also includes up to two nights of babysitting per week when on rota, though this is not always required.

You will be responsible for the children’s care, wellbeing, and day-to-day routines, confidently balancing the differing needs of an infant and a school-aged child. You will manage feeding and sleep routines for the baby, support the older child with her morning and after-school routine, and assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups as required. You will plan and accompany the children to age-appropriate activities and outings, encourage learning and development through play, and support homework as needed.

You will also take responsibility for nursery duties relating to the children, including their laundry and the general organisation of their spaces. The family are looking for a nanny who is confident working independently, proactive in managing the day, and communicative with the parents.

Fluency in Spanish is essential, as you will be encouraged to speak Spanish naturally with both children throughout the day, helping to support bilingual language development. The family travel for up to six weeks per year during holiday periods, so you should be happy and comfortable travelling as part of the role.

This position would suit an experienced nanny who is warm, calm, and professional, and who enjoys being actively involved in both infant care and supporting a school-aged child. The family are interviewing now and are open to an ASAP or flexible start date.
