Care for: One baby (approximately five months old by April)

Days/Hours: Rota 4wks on/off or 2wks on/off (open to discussion)

Location: Europe, London & International Travel

Salary: £70,000–£100,000 GPA

Start Date: April 2026 (with handover alongside Maternity Nurses until May)

We are delighted to be recruiting an experienced, French-speaking baby nanny to join a warm and welcoming family on a rota basis from spring 2026. The role will begin following a gentle handover period with the maternity nurse and will focus on caring for a baby who will be approximately five months old at the start date. This is a long-term, fully dedicated childcare position within a high-profile, fully staffed household.

The rota arrangement is flexible, with the family open to either a one month on / one month off or two weeks on / two weeks off schedule, depending on the right candidate’s preference and travel rhythm.

The family currently has maternity nurses in place until May and would greatly value a short overlap to ensure a smooth, reassuring transition and continuity of care for their baby.

The position is based across the family’s residences, including their London home in Chelsea, and involves extensive international travel with regular time spent in Los Angeles, France, Switzerland, and the UK. All homes are fully staffed. A second rota nanny will complement this role and will be based in, or have the legal right to work in, the United States.

The focus of the position is entirely on the baby’s wellbeing, development, and daily routine. Responsibilities include establishing consistent routines, supporting developmental milestones, and maintaining a calm, beautifully organised nursery and baby environment. With chefs and housekeepers employed, no cooking or general housekeeping duties are required.

Candidate Requirements

EU-based nanny with the legal right to work in Europe
Fluent French speaker with strong professional English
Proven professional experience caring for babies, ideally within HNW or UHNW households
Previous rota experience highly desirable
Confident, discreet, and comfortable with frequent international travel
Open to a range of childcare training backgrounds, provided experience within private households is demonstrably strong
