A family in South Croydon, London, is looking for a reliable and experienced part time nanny / housekeeper / cook to support their household in the afternoons. The role involves school pick-ups, caring for their two children aged 6 and 10, preparing meals and helping to keep the home clean and organised.

The ideal candidate will be warm, organised and proactive, with experience caring for school-aged children and the ability to manage household tasks independently. The family is looking for someone who can help keep the children’s after-school routine running smoothly while preparing meals and maintaining a tidy home.

Duties include:

collecting the children from school
providing attentive care and supervision after school
supporting the children’s afternoon routines and activities
preparing snacks and meals for the children
encouraging age-appropriate play and activities
ensuring the children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
cleaning and maintaining the main areas of the home
dusting and wiping household surfaces
vacuuming and mopping floors as required
managing laundry and putting clothes away
keeping the children’s bedrooms and belongings organised
preparing fresh, home-cooked meals for the family
keeping the kitchen clean and tidy after cooking
washing up and putting away kitchen items
keeping living areas neat and presentable
