A lovely household in Redbridge, London, is seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper / cook to help keep their home clean, organised and running smoothly. This role would suit someone who enjoys maintaining a well-presented home and preparing fresh, home-cooked meals.

The ideal candidate will be organised, trustworthy and able to work independently, with good attention to detail and previous experience in a similar role. They should be confident managing general housekeeping duties alongside cooking and be comfortable working in a home with pets.

Duties include:

maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the home
cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
dusting, vacuuming, mopping and polishing surfaces
making beds and changing bed linen
managing laundry, ironing and putting clothes away
keeping cupboards and storage areas tidy
planning and preparing fresh, nutritious meals
catering to the household’s food preferences
organising food shopping and keeping track of kitchen supplies
cleaning kitchen appliances and worktops after cooking
washing up and keeping the kitchen tidy
monitoring household essentials and replenishing supplies
keeping the home neat, comfortable and well maintained
carrying out occasional household errands when required
being comfortable around pets
