Description
On behalf of our private client, we are seeking a reliable, caring and enthusiastic Nanny for a busy family in the Isle of Man with six children ranging in age from 1 to 14 years old. The role would include working alongside another nanny on opposing shifts to provide six days of continuous cover. Some weekend work and flexibility with hours will be required.
We are looking for someone patient, adaptable, organised and good communicator. Hold a full driving licence and be a confident driver is mandatory for this role.
Working hours:
3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
Typically covering Monday to Saturday on a rota basis with a second nanny
Some weekend work required (flexibility is essential)
Duties include:
Providing attentive, nurturing care for six children aged 1 to 14
Meal preparation, hygiene routines, playtime and ensuring a safe environment
Assisting with homework for school-aged children
Engaging younger children in educational and creative play activities
Managing school and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups
Organising children's schedules and appointments
Liaising with schools and nursery as required
Providing clear written and verbal handovers to the second nanny
Occasionally travelling with the family and supervising children on outings and holidays
Keeping children's areas tidy and organising their belongings
Salary: From £30k per annum (pro rata), dependent on experience, plus overtime and stay-over pay
To start: as soon as possible ideally
Unless otherwise specified, a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
