A kind and reliable live in nanny is required to support a father and his 13-year-old child with special care needs. This is a night-focused role, ideal for someone who is happy to provide overnight supervision and reassurance while the father is at work.

The role allows flexibility during the day, meaning the nanny is free to take on other work in the mornings if desired. The child sleeps well, and the main requirement is to be present, attentive and responsive to his needs during the evening and night.

The family home is well located, with a bus stop close by, making it easily accessible. This role would suit a compassionate, patient and dependable nanny with experience supporting children with additional needs, who is comfortable working evenings and overnight in a live in position.

Duties include:

providing overnight supervision and reassurance
supporting the child’s evening routine
ensuring the child’s safety and wellbeing during the night
offering calm and consistent care tailored to special care needs
communicating clearly with the parent about the child’s wellbeing
