A friendly family in Ilkley are looking for an experienced full time nanny housekeeper to provide childcare for their two children, aged 5 and 10 years old, while assisting with the day-to-day management of their home. This is a rewarding opportunity for a caring, organised and energetic candidate who enjoys working with school-aged children and takes pride in maintaining a well-presented household.

The successful candidate will be dependable, proactive and able to manage both childcare and housekeeping responsibilities with ease. A driver is essential for transporting the children to and from school and activities, as well as assisting with household errands. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the children
managing school routines, including drop-offs and pick-ups
driving the children to clubs, activities and appointments
preparing nutritious breakfasts, lunches and evening meals
supporting homework and encouraging learning and independence
planning activities during school holidays
helping with children’s laundry and wardrobe organisation
keeping children’s bedrooms, bathrooms and play areas neat and organised
undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
cleaning all living areas to a high standard
laundry, ironing and household linen care
changing bed linen and maintaining bedrooms
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
shopping for groceries and household supplies
running general household errands
helping ensure the home remains tidy, welcoming and efficiently managed each day

Requirements:

Paediatric First Aid

Enhanced DBS check

UK work permit

Valid Driver’s License
