FLASH - the LeMieux Toy Pony - comes with a cute horsebox that can be turned inside out to become a stable, as well as a fly hood, a bridle, and a saddle, making it a (near) complete set for young equestrian enthusiasts. Made from soft cotton material, this soft toy is perfect for children aged 3+ (and with the included accessories is suitable for children aged 8+) who love playing with horses. The toy features the character Flash from the popular character family, adding a fun and imaginative element to playtime. FURTHER DETAILS:

Flash (now seemingly discontinued from the LeMieux Toy Pony range), is a striking skewbald riding horse with a plaitable flaxen mane and tail. His coat is incredibly soft, perfect for brushing and looking after. He stands squarely on all four legs and is flexible making him safe for young children (3 years +) to play with.

The hunter green coloured fly hood is an identical miniature version of the Classic Fly Hood with intricate handmade crochet and a perfect addition to the Toy Pony set up. With super soft suede ears, beautiful braiding detail and the LeMieux logo your LeMieux Pony can look just like the real thing.

The bridle encourages children to practice tacking up with this 'real design', complete with metal bit and reins. It is made from high quality black leather with delicate stitching detail on the noseband and browband. A beautiful educational addition to the Toy Pony collection.

The saddle is an exquisitely crafted miniature saddle in beautiful fine grain black leather. The 'real design' features include a double flap with three girt straps and buckle guards. It comes complete with detachable girth and metal stirrups making this an ideal tool and aid for learning about parts of the saddle, the practice of tacking up, and tack cleaning.

Replete with a posh horse box that turns inside out to become a luxury stable.

Note too, that each LeMieux pony is individually hand made, so no two are exactly the same and therefore vary slightly in size and shape. Besides what is included for sale here, additional accessories are available in a range of colours from selected retailers that include saddle pads and polo bandages making for an increased range of play should you so wish.

Flash is, with the fully working saddle and bridle included and described, great fun to play with and educational at the same time.


SADLY, the original passport and instructive care booklet have been lost. The GOOD NEWS is, however, I have obtained a PDF of the passport which I will email on purchase.

Everything is in very good condition and has been well looked after. Two things to note, however: (1) Flash's legs tend to dip a little so he is not as steady on his legs as was when younger; and (2) there is a small separation in the panelling of the horse box but this is internal and is obscured when folded properly. The GOOD NEWS regarding his legs is this advice I have from LeMieux... "The toy ponies have an inner support which feels like a pool noodle in each leg, if this has moved upwards over time the legs may seem floppy. If you can feel for the inner support this can be pulled back downwards which should help stabilise the pony." I have had some success with this suggestion, not perfect just yet but an improvement as I try it out.
