1958 AUSTIN HEALEY 100/6. Finished in Iris Blue with Navy Blue Leather interior. Superb condition throughout. Previously registered overseas but first imported into the UK and registered with the DVLA in February 1962, this 100/6 is now offered for sale showing 5 previous owners, the last of nearly 17 years. Upgraded with an uprated five-blade mechanical cooling fan, an electronic ignition system and coil, an electric fuel pump, and a stainless-steel exhaust system. Complete with spare wheel, a tonneau cover, a non-genuine jack and wheel brace, a car dust cover, the V5C, privately researched historical information, and a large collection of maintenance invoices. This 100/6'€™s most recent maintenance was carried out in October 2023 by AJ Lee Classics Limited, which consisted of a visual safety inspection, the drum brakes being cleaned and adjusted, all points being greased as required, the gearbox and axle level checked, and an engine oil and filter change. A comprehensive restoration was carried out in 2014, and included the tub being removed from the chassis, all new wings, inner wings, boot floor, rear bulkhead, floors, outriggers and transmission tunnel fabricated and fitted, as well as the engine being rebuilt, including new pistons, bearings and seals, a new oil pump, timing chain and tensioners, a new clutch, the brakes overhauled with all new wheel cylinders, shoes, brake pipes and master cylinders, a new slave cylinder, water pump, wiring loom, and a stainless-steel exhaust system.
