SE ELECTRONICS RF PRO REFLECTION / REFLEXION FILTER
£100 cash or bank transfer on collection from W12 Shepherds Bush / Acton. You are welcome to try it out before you buy, but please bring your own condenser mic and shockmount if you do. This unit is in great condition and perfect working order – I only used it on a few sessions tbh.
The reflection filter attaches to a mic stand [or – better – a speaker stand for greater stability] and allows you to reduce room sound when recording vocals with a condenser mic in an untreated studio space.
Great for project studios. I used to use it when I recorded my vox with a Rode NT1. I have since started using a Shure SM7B dynamic mic instead, and I find I don’t need to worry about using this now, as dynamic mics don’t capture much room sound anyway.
This one is the mid-range model from SE. They do an entry level one for around £80, this one for around £160, and a deluxe one for around £240.
