This M-Audio Keystation 88 MK3 is an 88-key USB-MIDI keyboard controller, great for music production.
It has full-size, velocity-sensitive, semi-weighted keys, and onboard controls like pitch and modulation wheels.
Connectivity includes plug-and-play USB-MIDI for Mac and PC, plus a 5-pin MIDI Out.
It’s USB bus-powered, so no external power supply is needed unless you want one separately.
Key Specifications & Features
Keybed: 88 full-size, velocity-sensitive, semi-weighted keys. Note that it does not feature fully-weighted hammer action or aftertouch.
Onboard Controls: Features ergonomically designed pitch and modulation wheels, a volume fader, octave buttons, and dedicated DAW transport/directional navigation buttons.
Connectivity: Simple plug-and-play USB-MIDI hookup for Mac and PC. It also features a traditional 5-pin MIDI Out to control external analog hardware, a 1/4" sustain pedal jack, and a 1/4" expression pedal input.
Power: Fully bus-powered via USB, eliminating the need for an external power brick (though a 9V DC power supply can be bought separately).
