YAMAHA MG06X MIXER WITH REVERB AND DELAY YAMAHA MG06X MIXER WITH REVERB AND DELAY
Great little mixer, Yamaha quality. Currently retailing for £150+ new. This unit is in excellent, good-as-new condition and perfect working order. £100 cash or bank transfer on collection from W12 Shepherds Bush / Acton. You are very welcome to try it out before you buy. The PSU is included.
As always with these little mixers, it’s advertised as ‘6-channel’ but it isn’t really – more like 4 channel. There are two XLR / 6.3mm jack ‘combi’ inputs on channels one and two, plus two stereo 6.3mm jack inputs. There is 2-band EQ on channels 1+2, and phantom power for those inputs if you require it. Nice, transparent preamps on channels 1+2.
You can switch channels 1+2 between stereo and mon [L/R]. You can switch the FX on or off on each of these 2 channels. The FX is switchable between Room, Plate and Hall Reverbs and Short, Long and ‘VO Echo’ delays. There is a ‘FX Return’ knob to dial in how wet you want the effect to be.
The output section is very good for such a small mixer, offering a choice between balanced TRS stereo 6.3mm jacks and stereo XLRs. There is also a headphone output [6.3mm jack] with its own volume control. Overall, it’s a great little mixer, perfect for a singer guitarist who wants to travel light without sacrificing the ability to put a bit of reverb on their vox / guitar.
I’m selling because I only ever want Hall reverb on my guitar, and I prefer the Hall sound on my TC Electronic HOF reverb pedal, so I no longer need a small mixer with built-in reverb. But this mixer is probably the best ultra-compact mixer that offers a usable onboard reverb AFAIK.
