I’ve owned this TT since February to use for my daily commute and it has been faultless. I bought it with a short MOT and it sailed through its test but the rear differential was advised so I had this rebuilt by Last Transmissions in Newbourne at a cost of £1800.

EVERYTHING WORKS! No faults or lights on dash, all electric gizmos are in full working order - it drives like a much younger car. 110k miles with full service history, last big service was in Feb and had new glow plugs. All the stamps in the service book and cambelt was changed on schedule. Being the 170bhp TDI it has plenty of poke and is a very comfortable cruiser. Easily returns 60mpg+ on a run and I usually see 55mpg on my daily commute. 700 miles range on a full tank.

The roof is in good condition and has no rips or tears, the heated glass rear window is fully sealed and there are zero window leaks. It was pressure washed by an enthusiastic previous owner at some point which has left a mark in the hood but this is only noticeable in certain lights and hasn’t really bothered me.

The Ibis white bodywork is in very good order and has no scratches or dents of any concern. The gloss black wheels are in good condition having been refurbished by the previous owner. Brake discs and pads are good. It needs nothing and has been 100% reliable during my ownership.

It was previously owned by the owner of the Vauxhall and Ford Centre in Clacton and during his ownership it was involved in an accident and suffered offside front damage. The car is therefore a Cat S and was repaired by the owner’s workshop. I had a long conversation with them and was reassured that it suffered relatively minor damage requiring new wing, bumper and headlight but the insurer was rather over zealous with their assessment and it was classed Cat S. I would welcome ANY inspection or assessment in regard to this and I am 100% confident that there will be no issues as a result.
