2003 Audi A8 3.7 V8 Quattro - MOT until July 2026, runs & drives

I bought this mid-December wanting to run about in a luxury barge, and it had a new battery immediately (~£100). It's also recently had new tyres.
There's a big stack of history, including a bill of sale from 2008 when it was bought approved used for about £15,000. The history doesn't go much beyond 2021, or about 40,000 miles ago, but there's a bill for the cambelt and water pump around that time, which is reassuring.
I also bought a code reader specifically for it, which will be included for the right price.
I've done ~500 miles in it, which is absolutely nothing given it's a true moon-mileage car.
It's not without faults and issues, which I do not have the time or skills to troubleshoot or solve. The gearbox feels like it needs a good service as it is a bit shunty/crashy and indecisive, particularly when it's very cold. It has improved slightly as the weather has become milder (i.e. 10C rather than -2C). A good flush through etc could do it well, and when it's warm it can be driven normally with minimal disruption (i.e. the paddles work, 'Sport' mode works, it kicks down, and every gear works).
When it's particularly cold the driver's front suspension is very squeaky (it's air suspension, the squeak feels like hardened/perishing rubber).
The headlight lenses are discoloured and need looking at, as the lights could be better.
There is an oil leak (see MOT history) - this seems to be minimal and oil lands on the exhaust as you can smell it a bit when it's been sat a while and warms up but there's no smoke.
There are a few other things which I am happy to discuss via email or messages or whatever, with someone who is genuinely interested - the photos show that the bodywork and interior are, on the whole, pretty good for a 23 year old car with 240,000 miles, but there are imperfections which you can clearly see.
If you told me to drive it from John O'Groats to Lands End tomorrow, I'd have zero fear. It feels like it wants to continue going, and the right person should see it through to 300,000.
Happy to entertain sensible offers - this is one of the cheapest running and usable V8 petrols of this generation out there, it's about 2% of its original ticket price when adjusted for inflation.
