An Excellent opportunity for experienced CNC Setter Operators to join a well-established company based in Torfaen!

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: Competitive Salary, Depending on Experience.

Location: Pontypool, Torfaen, NP4.

About The Role:

The company are seeking skilled and experienced CNC Setter Operators to join their production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC Milling machines to produce high quality components in line with engineering drawing and customer specifications. These are excellent opportunities for motivated individuals with a strong attention to details and a commitment to maintaining high manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities Include:

Set and Operate CNC Milling machines safely and efficiently Set a range of CNC Milling machines without supervision Load raw materials and set up tooling, fixtures and work pieces Monitor machining operations and make minor adjustments as required Inspect finished parts using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometres, gauges) Interpret engineering drawings and follow production documentation Maintain and clean, organise safe working areas Report any machine faults, quality concerns or material issues Support continuous improvement activities

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator within an engineering / manufacturing environment Knowledge of Mazak, Fanuc and/or Siemens control systems Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and drawings Good knowledge of machining processes and materials Competence using measuring equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Able to work independently when required
