Vintage Ercol Windsor Goldsmith rocking chair
Thetford, Norfolk
1 / 4
Description
Beautiful, authentic mid-century Ercol "Goldsmith" high-back rocking chair. This is a classic British design by Lucian Ercolani, featuring the iconic sculpted elm saddle seat and a turned beech wood frame.
It features a rich, dark wood finish. It also has a wonderful, smooth rocking motion and a striking, high-backed silhouette.
Good vintage condition. The chair is structurally sound, sturdy, and sits evenly on its rockers with no loose joints. The wood shows some beautiful light, age-related wear and patina that only adds to its authentic vintage character (see photos).
This chair is available from Bulldog Barns, Griston, Norfolk.
