Two Vintage Mid‑70s Cintique St.James Armchairs
A beautiful pair of original mid‑70s Cintique high-back armchairs looking for a new home. The St.James models maintain the Cintique reputation for outstanding comfort. These are beautifully made, wonderfully comfortable chairs — the sort you sink into and then immediately question whether you’ll ever get back up again.
Condition:
• Solid overall with light wear to the wooden frames
• Upholstery is Draylon Cord and is in good condition with no rips or tares
• Fabric has some fading from being used in our conservatory, but still very presentable
These would also make a fantastic restoration project. A fresh coat of polish on the woodwork and some new covers would make these beauties absolutely sing.
If you know Cintique, you’ll know how well‑built and supportive these chairs are. Perfect for a reading corner, lounge, or anyone who appreciates classic British furniture with proper craftsmanship.
