We recently used Dizzain for both structural drawings and building works. I’d recommend for structural drawings/design. They were very good. I would not recommend for building works. They are not (in my opinion) professional builders and as such we ran into lots of problems that ended up costing us a huge amount of time/money to rectify. In short – we wanted a structural wall removed that was next to the mains elec/gas pipes. Andrius said this would be an easy job and so the wall came down. Only once it was down did we find out the cost of moving the mains was £6-7k which if we’d known we’d not have had the wall removed. I would have expected a builder to have a basic level of knowledge across other trades and be in a position to guide accordingly. The second big problem related to the openings they prepared for our bifold doors and windows. We agreed the exact dimensions of the openings in advance. Unfortunately, they were too small (in the case of the window 6 inches too small). Andrius stated this was ‘our problem’ and didn’t rectify. We ended up needing to buy a bespoke window to fit the opening which cost us a further £1k that was not budgeted. There were other similar problems that we encountered too, and this is before we get to building control for sign-off. The cost of the works were expensive and we were left disappointed. My advice is use for structural design works but do not use for building works.
