Description

Gen 1 Aprilia RSV Tuono 1000.

Comes with original pillion seat and rear luggage rack (not fitted) has a genuine Aprilia racing hump off a Mille, worth a few bob on its own, doesn't quite fit seamlessly but it was an excuse to remove the handbag holder.

New Yuasa battery fitted so good to go, starts first time every time.

Choke cable a little sticky but does free off, I will try to rectify this prior to sale

Couple of bigger jobs been carried out over the last couple years

Valve clearances adjusted (receipt available)
Front forks done also (receipt available)

Few other bits and pieces but I know most people will be looking at the valve clearance's! good old Italian huh!

Bike rides lovely, tyres could probably do with a swap but still life left in them, they just don't seem to hold air over prolonged storage, The bike is extremely powerful and will give you some buzz!

V twin engine, very torquey down low end RPM, it just wants to GO at every throttle blip!

Last MOT advised chain but I really haven't used it much since its MOT. Still good to go as is but will take this into consideration upon offers.

MOT expires 19th May 2026, Yes its soon, but I only use my bikes in the summer so MOT is usually start of the season. I see no reason why this would not pass another MOT when the time comes, Please ask questions or if you want some additional photos etc please let me know.

Bike is in excellent condition, as I mentioned, dry sunny days only so overall its pretty mint, few blemishes here and there as you'd expect for a 20 year old bike, It has one small crack around a hex head fixing near the radiator fill cap, but that is me being extremely fussy, other than its typical stone chips and rider marks its spot on.

It is fitted with heated grips and for some reason someone never replaced the end bungs on the handles. it looks like there is part of the bungs stuck inside the handles but never really investigated this too much as its not an issue for me

Aftermarket exhaust can fitted, its LOUD, but it is road legal and only ever been advised as "noisy" on MOTS. the baffle has just.... gone missing...
