Lovely old wooden chest, full of character and history.
It has its original newspaper lining from 1852 inside, which is a neat touch.
Shows expected wear and tear for its age, including some scratches and marks on the lid.
Hinges are strong, and it still functions well as a storage box or decorative piece.
