Description
This vintage mid-century Murano Art Glass bowl belonged to my mum, who was given it as a gift long before I was born.
The bowl is made of hand-blown glass and features shades of green and clear-white.
In certain lights, and at certain angles, a blue sheen can be seen at the edges (see image 7) ; or the bowl can even appear to be completely green in colour (see image 8).
I never get tired of looking at this piece, it is truly captivating.
The bowl is in great condition, but it does have a small chip on one of the tips (see image 9 and video). It isn’t noticeable unless you know what to look for. However, I have adjusted the asking price accordingly with this in mind.
Height: 8cm
Width: 38cm
Weight: 3kg
Due to the weight of this piece, I would recommend Buyer collection from London N19. However, I would be happy to discuss additional postage & packaging if you live farther away.
