A beautiful Victorian oak pedestal desk with green leather top.
This is a lovely, good condition item with a rich warm wooden finish. It is a smaller size than many similar desks at width 118cm (46 1/2”) x depth 59cm (23 1/4”) x height 72cm (28 1/2”) making it more suitable for smaller spaces, as shown in the photo. Its smaller size and lightweight detachable top makes this ideal for easy transporting and manoeuvre.
It has the original wooden castors, plain wooden knobs and a total of 9 drawers. The 4 drawers either side increase in size as they get lower. The centre drawer is a wide drawer and can was used with a keyboard that could be taken out. All drawers have locks, but no key. It may be possible to take a drawer to a local locksmith to create a key for the drawers.
