Description

A vintage glass sculpture of an 18th Century Frigate. Frigates in the 18th century were typically fast, manoeuvrable warships used for scouting, escorting, and patrolling.

This piece is in mint condition.

Made from hand-blown glass with 22 carat gilded sails.

Set inside a glass dome casing, on a handmade wooden base.

The dome, ship and masts are made of clear glass.

The sails are gilded in 22 carat gold.

‘18th Century Frigate’ is engraved on a golden plate on its handmade wooden base.

Made by Mayflower Glass Sculptures.

• Diameter: 9cm
