Vintage Chinese Silk Embroidered Bird & Floral Decorative Mat
Beautiful vintage Chinese embroidered silk decorative mat/table centre, featuring an intricately embroidered bird surrounded by flowers and foliage on a rich deep red satin-style background.
The piece has particularly lovely detailing, with gold thread embroidery, turquoise/blue floral accents and an ornate scalloped border. The original Chinese maker’s label is still attached to the reverse, as shown in the photos.
A striking vintage piece that could be used as a table centre, decorative mat, display piece or framed as textile wall art.
