Victorian cast iron bedroom fireplace

Description

Victorian slim cast iron bedroom fireplace front with bars and shelf (bars not removable).
Will not fit flush to the wall due to rear projection. In good condition with no damage, both mounting lugs present, which do not require recessing. Intricate detail of the casting not lost under layers of paint, so an easy restoration project.
Foundry mark on the back dates the piece to 1870.
