Stained and patterned glass porch lantern/shade.

I remember this being in the porch of my parents house when I was a young child. (I'm 60 now) so this item has some age to it.
It was already old when my parents acquired it.

Could date back from 1960s to 1920s possibly?

It's very dirty as its been in an outhouse for about 50 years so would require a good clean.
There are some paint spots on the top section but I'm sure they'll clean off.

It seems solid enough, none of the glass seems to be loose.

The chain in the photos isn't included.

Could be used again as a porch or hallway welcome light or it could sit on a base with a bulb and be converted into a table or shelf lamp?
