Chinese Porcelain Bottle Vase in a Antique Qing Dynasty Kangxi Style
We are delighted to offer this rather handsome & quite large Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period style Chinese porcelain bottle vase. Large hand applied blue & white decorative ceramic vase. Features a traditional riverside landscape scene with mountains, pagodas, & trees painted in underglaze blue. A decorated style reminiscent of the Ming or Qing dynasties.
Classic bottle shaped with gloss surface glaze & an unglazed bottom base rim edge. Potters wheel ring striations are clear to see in the body of this piece along with one or two kiln firing iron spot pits in the glaze.
Kangxi blue and white porcelain was produced in China during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi. The fourth Emperor of the Qing dynasty & the longest-reigning emperor in Chinese history, he ruled China from 1662 to 1722.
This piece comes directly from a recent estate sale & is sold in superb as found condition. No cracks, chips or repairs of any kind. Overall in very nice condition.
