Description
A pair of baluster form vases, finely painted in Satsuma enamels enhanced with gold paint, decorated with a ceremonial archer figure with bow and quiver, holding a bird in his hand. The base is hand signed in red ink. Height 160 mm approx. Purchased by my grandfather in China or Japan before WW2.
