Description
Rare Lantern Clock with many original parts .Made in 1691 as shown by "91" engraved on Dial Face next to Maker's name.
Would originally have had a three train movement for Clock,bell and alarm with original holes still present as is top plate with slots/holes for original escapement.
Current movement by A D Mougin of Paris c1875.Movement runs/chimes sporadically so needs attention.
A very rare clock. Selling as a NON-RUNNER but great potential.
