In original wood and leather carry case, Rowand Anderson , Paul & Partners Dumpy Level. Manufactured by G Hutchison of Forrest Road Edinburgh, est 1886, and repaired and adjusted by them in 1949. Provenance galore throughout the box.
R A P & P worked on some of Scotlands most prestigious projects, Grand Central Hotel Glasgow, National Portrait Gallery Edinburgh, Mcewan Hall Edinburgh and Mount Stuart House to name four only.
The precision engineering and quality of workmanship in this instrument is of superb quality.
